This event is Creative Black Tie—formal attire with a personal twist. Dress to impress! Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses.
Creative black tie outfits include the use of different textures, prints, patterns, colors, or accessories to create your own fun (and still elegant) look. The bride loves color!
Jeans and polos are not allowed. -
Complimentary parking is available in our designated lot.
To enter, please travel east on Wisconsin Avenue and turn right into the alleyway; the entrance will be immediately on your left.Please note the neighboring Library and Wells Fargo lots are not hosted by the wedding and will require a separate parking fee via QR codes.

Our ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30 PM. We kindly ask guests to arrive and be seated by 4:15 PM to ensure a smooth start to the evening.

Shuttle service will be provided between the hotel and venue from
2:00 PM – 5:00 PM and 9:00 PM – Midnight. -
We love all the children in our lives, but we have decided to keep our wedding ceremony and reception strictly adults-only aside from our immediate family. Thank you for understanding.

We aren't allowing plus-ones at our wedding, as we'd like to keep the guests list just to those who know us well. The name of every guest invited to attend is clearly listed on your invitation and no additional guests can be accommodated.

The St. James is ADA. Enter though the patio, into the back doors. Please see an Usher or St. James staff member to see to an entrance/exit.

Our ceremony will be held indoors, as well as dinner and dancing. Our cocktail hour will strictly be indoors with access to bathrooms, located inside.

Please see our hotel room block page on this website for further information. If you prefer a different location, there are many surrounding hotels in the area.
If you miss the deadline to reserve a room in our block, reach out to the hotel and mention our wedding anyway—they may be able to accommodate you with our discount in a room outside of our block.
